We produce galvanized iron square wire mesh from selected quality plain steel wire, for wide use as window netting, safety guards for machinery enclosures, filtering of liquid and gas, sieving of grain and similar duties. The zinc coating — applied before or after weaving, hot-dipped or electro-galvanized — gives plain steel cloth years of outdoor service at carbon-steel prices.

Galvanizing: Before vs After Weaving
Mesh woven from pre-galvanized wire is the economical choice with a uniform appearance; mesh galvanized after weaving seals every wire crossing in zinc, eliminating the bare crevices where rust starts, and is recommended for permanently outdoor installations. Hot-dipped coatings are several times thicker than electroplated ones and last proportionally longer in weather.
Machine Guarding and Safety Use
Square galvanized mesh is a standard infill for machine guards, fan covers and window protection because it combines visibility with a defined opening size. Guard designers can pair our mesh openings against the reach and opening requirements described in the OSHA machine guarding resources — smaller openings permit closer guard placement to the hazard.
