The structure of welded wire mesh is strong, lasting and rust-resistant. Wires are resistance-welded at every intersection, so the mesh keeps its shape under load instead of shifting like woven cloth. We weld mesh in stainless steel for corrosive service, and in low-carbon steel that is galvanized after welding — by either of two ways of galvanization: hot-dipped (hot galvanized) or cold (electric) galvanized. Hot-dip coating seals the weld points completely, which is why it is the standard recommendation for outdoor and agricultural use; the hot-dip process and its corrosion performance are documented in depth by the American Galvanizers Association.
PVC Coated Welded Wire Mesh
PVC coated welded wire mesh is made of quality welded low-carbon steel wire mesh, galvanized first and then coated with PVC or PE powder. The coated layer is even, with strong adhesiveness and a bright luster, and gives long-life anti-corrosive performance. All kinds of colors can be coated according to customers' special requirements — dark green and black are the common choices for fencing and garden work.
Varieties and Sizes
Varieties available: electro-galvanized, hot-dipped galvanized, stainless steel and PVC coated. Standard roll widths are 3', 4', 5', 6' and 7'; other width and length specifications, as well as packing, are at the buyer's option. Openings run from 1/4" x 1/4" to 1" x 2" in the specifications below; heavier panels are quoted separately.

Applications
Welded mesh serves as animal cages and enclosures, machine and window guards, shelving and rack decks, plaster and render lath, gabion liners, and general fabrication stock. Stainless welded mesh adds food-plant, marine and chemical duty.
